Personal and Professional Experience
I am a professional software developer and tutor with a passion for the arts. I specialize in Python, including frameworks and libraries like Django, Pandas, and Matplotlib. I also offer instruction in computer science and mathematics. I enjoy printmaking, especially cyanotypes and screen printing, along with 3D modeling in Blender.
In the mid-2000s, I performed with "Excuse Me Sircus," a street circus troupe based in Portland, ME, touring the Northeastern US, including Philadelphia. I later transitioned to puppetry, regularly performing my rendition of Punch and Judy in Portland and collaborating with Portland's Shoestring Puppet Theater on productions of "The Odyssey," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Peter Pan." My experience also includes participating in puppet slams at the Mayo Street Arts Center in Portland and Puppet Showplace Theater in Boston.
In 2020, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Southern Maine and began working at Clearpath Innovations in Lewiston, Maine, on various client projects, including those for a mattress sales company and a real estate assessment firm. In 2022, I joined Standvast full-time to continue the development and maintenance of warehouse management software initially developed by Clearpath.
